TRANSITIONAL LIVING

I came to Life Ministry after doing 5 years in prison at Maine state prison for drug trafficking. I am originally from Brooklyn, NY and thought it would be best if I did not return there. My plans were to start over in Portland but GOD knew best. After doing all that time GOD knew I was going to need a safe environment to further my growth. This is exactly what GOD is doing here at Life Ministry. The word says that HE knew us from the time we were in my mother’s womb. He had a plan for our lives for good and not for evil. So as GOD restores our lives and paves the way ahead of us, we just submit our will to his will in our lives. I am truly blessed to be apart of something great that GOD is doing in mid-coast Maine. I pray that GOD sends more people to partner with us in what HE’S doing. Not just in finances but in prayer, time, services, in anyway GOD puts on there heart to help. GOD has given me the gift of bringing his presence here and I plan to be a good steward of that. May your will be done here in Rockland, in Maine, in the country and the whole world. As it is in HEAVEN.

MY NAME IS MOSS MCCOLE. I CAME TO LIFE MINISTRY IN 2013 AFTER SERVING A 4 YEAR SENTENCE AT MSP FOR ROBBING A BANK. I GREW UP IN A SMALL TOWN WITH 2 BROTHERS AND A SINGLE MOM. SHE RAISED US WITH THE LORD IN THE CATHOLIC CHURCH. AS TIME WENT ON GOD TOOK A BACK SEAT TO ALCOHOL AND DRUGS AND LED ME TO ROBBING A BANK. AFTER BURNING ALL BRIDGES WITH MY MOM AND TURNING MY BACK ON GOD AND MY DAUGHTER I HAD NO WHERE ELSE TO RUN BUT CHRIST. IN THE MAINE STATE PRISON, I FOUND MY WAY BACK TO JESUS. AS MY RELEASE DATE APPROACHED I WAS ASKED TO REACH OUT TO LIFE MINISTRY. I HAD NO IDEA WHY? I HAD JESUS, SAVED MONEY AND A DAUGHTER IN SOUTHERN MAINE. AFTER LOTS OF PRAYER AND A DECISION TO GO, I WAS WELCOMED INTO LIFE MINISTRY. I REALIZED ON MY OWN I AM WEAK, I DO WHAT I DO NOT WANT TO DO. BUT WITH THE BODY OF CHRIST AROUND ME I AM INVINCIBLE. SATAN HAS NO POWER OVER CHRIST. FROM OUR WORK IN THE COMMUNITY TO OUR WEEKLY MEETINGS AND SUNDAY’S WORSHIP. LIFE MINISTRY HAS HELPED ME LIVE A CHRIST CENTERED LIFE. I HAVE A FAMILY OF THE GREATEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET! I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO CLING TO THIS FAMILY IN TIMES OF TURMOIL AND DRAW WISDOM AND STRENGTH. I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SHARE THE GREATEST JOYS WITH THEM AS WELL. I KNOW WITHOUT A SHADOW OF A DOUBT WITHOUT MY LIFE FAMILY MY LIFE TODAY WOULD NOT LOOK AS AMAZING AS IT DOES.
